Edit of things I filmed last Friday night testing my new Sony α77 and Sony DT f3.5-f6.3 18-250mm lens. Everything was shot at 1080/60p mostly on program auto, so not sure what shutter speed. Everything was shot handheld, but all of the non skating clips were stabilized in post. Everything was slowed down to 50% speed in final cut, no frame blending. Went to Silver Spring to test my new camera and film some skating and whatever else caught my eye, which was mostly christmas lights. Didn’t film as much as I would’ve liked too as I went out a little late and it got dark fast, so it kind of ended up being a low light/night test. Question by cafeaukait: What digital camera would be best for me?
I’m looking to buy a digital camera. My price range is around $ 100-$ 250. I take pictures A LOT. The camera is practically attached to my hand. I would like the camera to have some nice features like color extraction, but mostly I would like quality pictures. That’s the most important thing to me. Also, I want something reliable. I bought a Kodak last September and burned out the flash bulb by this September. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Question by ME: What comes after HD TVs and IPhones?
Just out of curiosity, now that we have seen HD TVs, LED TVs, IPhones and soon 3D TVs, does anyone know whats next? Is there going to be a short break in technology before someone comes up with Holographic TV’s or something else?

Well it’s hard to predict the future and what will come next. In 1990 people were watching VHS, and they probably didn’t predict that the next step in technology would be watching movies from shiny disks that looked like frisbees. They have come out with 3D TV’s, and it will most likely get to a point where you have a room dedicated to TV and you are immersed in a 3D experience all around you. Movies and things like that will probably come on little chips (eventually) that mimic an SD card.
But like i said, it’s hard to predict any of these things. These are just guesses taking into consideration our past achievments.

www.1stoptutorials.com – This is going to be a fun tutorial on how to make eyes white. The first step will be taking out the color in those blood veins. We will then come in with our clone stamp tool to select white areas and pint it in the new area. The little trick to this is having the clone stamp tool blend mode set to lighten, this will allow us to lighten the darker areas. This is a tedious process but well worth it.
